Coach Etheredge went to Trussville Elementary from first grade to fifth grade. Then he went to Trussville Middle School from sixth grade to eighth grade. He also went to Leeds High School from ninth grade to twelfth grade. He went to college and graduated from Jacksonville State University.

Coach Etheredge has 3 kids that are all girls: Marlee who is 13, Maddie who is 4, and Mia who is 6 months old.

His hobbies are fishing, working out in the yard, video games , and Playstation II. He also loves oldies music.

His honors are that he won the St. Clair County championship in basketball three years in a row. He was nominated to "Teachers' Who's Who".
